All great headlines, all very catchy but the focus is all wrong. I think when we start to look at ourselves instead of to God, we’ve already failed. How can there be a ‘new you’ without allowing Christ to transform you into a new creation? How can we make ‘me’ centred goals and expect them to work? How can this be your best year ever without trusting in the One who gives us each year?
This year when you’re planning your goals, pray over them. Ask God to align your goals with His will and purpose for you that you may be a blessing in your family/community/workplace/school.
